Cowtown Republic in more shops this month!

Cowtown Republic hopes all y'all are having a great start to Summer! We began Summer with being exhibitors at 2 local events; the Longhorn Breeders Association Event and the Premier Gun Show. They were fun and we loved meeting so many local people as well as presenting and selling our shirts and caps.

We are excited to announce that we are now in 4 shops around town. They are: Feather's Fort Worth, Oolasue's & Moore's Boutique, Hale House Boutique, and The Squire Shop for Men.

Our latest design, the Prickly Pear Cactus has been a hit...so get yours while they last!

    Cowtown Republic

Between 1866 and 1890, cattle drivers trailed more than four million head of cattle through Fort Worth. The city soon became known as “Cowtown.”

When the railroad arrived in 1876, Fort Worth became a major shipping point for livestock, so the city built the Union Stockyards, two and a half miles north of the Tarrant County Courthouse, in 1887. The cattle industry thrived until the end of World War II. With the advance in national freeway systems, the rail industry declined and it also changed the way the cattle industry worked. The stockyards continued operations until 1971. Today, the Stockyards is a tourist attraction, to over 1,000 visitors daily. The Cowtown Coliseum still has rodeos.

'Cowtown Republic' is our clothing brand. A brand that is rich in the roots of cowtown and also celebrates the culture of today's Fort Worth. There is a cowtown pride that lives on today and will continue for future generations. When you wear one of our shirts or hats, it will make a statement of all that is cool and timeless about Cowtown.
